BEWARE of a Paarl woman who deals in art. She professes to have links with an art and antique shop in Paarl. She mainly targets the elderly who very often have no idea of the value of their art, but she wins your confidence by referring to the shop.
She buys the art at a bargain and makes a hefty profit. Never accept any cheques from her, because one after the other bounces. Then she pays off in drips and drabs.
However, when it comes to the final payment, she does not answer any of her phones and does not respond to messages.
So please give her a Big Miss.
