Paarl launches golf village simulator
2011-09-08
PRESENTING one of the premier golf events of the year and creating a new dimension for golf in South Africa, Paarl Golf Club has established the first local golf village simulator centre which is breaking boundaries in club resource management. P3ProSwing™, an award-winning golf-swing analyzer, instructional aid and simulator, has been selected by Paarl Golf Club for its new indoor golf village. Six simulators are being installed as an attraction for golfers, resort guests and club members. The model selected has grass-top units, versa mats, hanging impact screens and 20 virtual golf courses. Golfers will have the opportunity to play on renowned simulated golf courses and work on game improvement via access to their personal swing data. The Village forms part of the club house and golfing experience offered to members and visitors. It consists of six simulator bays, using real clubs, real balls and produces real measured results. Chairperson Ian Rose says,” The simulator is seriously fun and incredibly accurate with high definition graphics and a simulated grass top hitting surface.” The Village offers professional assistance and full food and beverage facilities are available. The centre can be used as a virtual driving range to warm up prior to tee-off or the local pro can accommodate guests and members with a series of lessons to bring any handicap down to where it needs to be. Paarl Golf Club is open for membership and offers attractive packages.
