THE Drakenstein Municipality will complete its series of ward elections this month, to promote community involvement in local elections.

Each ward community of ten volunteers will be involved in ward planning, in co-operation with the relevant ward councillor.

They serve as a sounding board for the councillor and can make recommendations to the Council, mayoral committee and mayor via the councillor.

Any registered voter in the ward without municipal debt can serve on the committee, except municipal employees.
