A MAN was killed in his house-shop on Sunday evening, when a gunman opened fire on him.

Madoda Mtwebana was approached by four young men outside his shop in Project 2. They demanded money.

One of the men produced a firearm and a struggle followed between the robbers and Mtwebana. Shots were then fired and Mtwebana was struck in the chest and hip. He died on the scene.

After firing another shot, the men fled empty-handed.
