THE Marc’s Simonsberg Paarl Rotary mountain-bike challenge is held at Backsberg Wine Estate on Saturday.
The long route (45 km) starts at 08:00, the short route (30 km) at 08:30 and the kiddies’ race (5 km) at 09:00.
Organised and managed by the Rotary Club of Paarl under the auspices of the Pedal Power Association (PPA), the proceeds go towards community development projects.
Family activities include a jumping castle, glass-blowing demonstrations, horse riding, wine-tasting and a wide selection of food experiences.
