LOREN ERASMUS, one of the rising stars on Paarl’s music scene, has decided to kickstart the festive season with a little bit of Christmas spirit to end 2005 with.
She dedicates her ‘White Christmas Show’ to her music teacher, the late Andrew Strauss.
“The saddest part of it all was the day we all lost Andrew Strauss, but I made sure that his music, his soul lives on for years to come."
The Christmas show she will be doing on Friday 9 and Saturday December will start off with love songs (oldies) and end off with beautiful Christmas carols at the La Musique Theatre Paarl in Hospital Street.
Loren is employed at Heinz Foods SA as an executive secretary.
“As a hobby, because I love singing so much, I take singing lessons (part-time) at La Musique."
Danfred Jacobs will be assisting her with two songs.
