New factory planned

A LARGE number of jobs will be created by a new factory planned for Paarl.
A site of about 24 hectares in Drommedaris Street, Mbekweni, is to be sold by the Municipality for the erection of a factory to manufacture marine containers.
Drakenstein Municipality has awarded the tender for development of the site to Reefer Container Consortium.
The land is to be sold for R840 000 should rezonings be approved.
The property is at the corner of Drommedaris Street and Ring Road, with an Escom servitude to the east.
