A NEW development of 62 modern apartments is to be built in Main Street, on the vacant site opposite Huis Vergenoegd.
The R53 milion apartment block is to be built by Group 3 Properties on one of the the last pieces of vacant land on the Main Road in Paarl.
The luxurious four-storey building, Paarl-on-Main, will comprise 64 studio and duplex apartments, all wired for 24-hour high speed internet connectivity.
The luxurious building with shops on the street front, was designed by Bradford Stringer of Hennie de Villiers Architects in a contemporary style reflecting the historic character of the area.
The building will have luxury finishes and access control with secure basement parking.
The units are priced from R559 900 for a one bedroom unit (38 square metres) to R1 million for the biggest duplex (80 sq metres). The apartment will have a lift and each unit will have its own balcony. Camera-controlled security will be provided in the complex.

The development by Aslo Properties consists of 45 apartments varying from bachelor flats at R399 000 to one-bedroom, duplex and two-bedroom units (R650 000).
