VODACOM is again sponsoring the Ocean Experience water safety and wave riding clinics, which will be held along the South African coastline as part of the Vodacom Yebo Feva Summer Series, during the festive season.
All aspiring wave riders are invited to join the carefully selected Vodacom Ocean Experience coaches for free lessons to be held at the selected venues at 11:00 and 14:00 daily.
The first event took place last weekend at Camps Bay beach and it will end in Fish Hoek on 30 December.
The Vodacom Ocean coaches are qualified lifeguards trained by two times world lifesaving champion Brandon Ribbink and national surfing team captain Jason Ribbink.
One of the highlights of the Vodacom Yebo Feva Summer Series includes National Volleyball Tournaments which have attracted the cream of the SA crop to compete for a lucrative prize purse, valuable rating points and the opportunity to be selected for the 2006 World Series.
There will be something to appeal to everyone at this year’s Vodacom Yebo Feva Summer Series including social touch rugby and beach soccer events held twice daily.
