Glory for Zebedee

THE local rock group, Zebedee, won the award for Best Newcomers 2005 at the Glory Awards in Bellville.
These new annual awards for artists from Southern Africa involved in Contemporary Christian Music, are presented by the Glory Foundation.
United States gospel artist, Anthony Faulkner II, a note song writer and television actor, performed at the presentations.
Zebedee consist of Elton Carolissen (18), Angelo Lekota (14) , and Lionel Maharaj (19) and his sister, Melony (23) .
The group are now recording their first CD, rehearsing at Lionel and Melony’s home in Charleston Hill.
