THE third “security village” to be erected between KWV and Het Gesticht is in the pipeline - Vredenburg Village.
A village consists of houses, a church, a school and a pub in a country setting. Surely Main Street is not countryside?
The pub will undoubtedly be accommodated in one of the offices (called business blocks) with an entrance in Main Street.
There are more than 50 double garage units planned - think of all the resultant traffic jams.
Please, Mr Developer, have a rethink. Build your ‘village’ somewhere in the country-side far away from Paarl.
