Diziplez of Stone is moving

THE local HipHop group Diziplez of Stone (DOS) is going places!
Miztah Naztaljah (Devlin Pietersen) and Yunique ‘Iyunstine’ Dachanell were recently joined by DJ Jan B, to lay down scratches and mix some samples at their gigs.
They also got a new manager in the person of Mizhif, originating from New York.
After hard work and sacrifices, they finally signed a recording deal with their manager’s label, Moshin Sykness Entertainment.
DOS’s plan was to go to Johannesburg for a month and to record their debut album at their studios, but through a lot of talking with friends, their manager and industry professionals, they decided to stay in the Western Cape.
They are looking at several other studios and have recorded one song which will feature on an underground compilation.
Yunique’s solo song, entitled ‘It’s a Wonderful World’, got rotation on Radio KC and Good Hope FM.
DOS had a band, but due to financial constraints and the band members not having their own instruments, they had to put that venture on hold.
They are also busy with a behind the scenes video. They have this kid following them around everywhere from the studios, interviews and gigs.
“We just want our fans to get to know us better,” says Yunique.
“On our debut album our fans and potential fans will see another side of DOS. Our fans can expect pain, love, poverty, jealousy and youth-orientated topics.”
They, as well as other composers are writing, arranging and composing new songs.
“It is hard work, because we are under pressure to complete the album in two weeks, followed by music videos.
“Our fans should watch this space, for we will be auditioning people from Drakenstein in the near future.”
