Diamonds and dust

THE Barnyard Theatre at the Bridge House School in Simondium features Diamonds and Dust on Friday and Saturday 24 and 25 February at R95 per person.
The show starts off in the swinging 40s and 50s with the music of the pennywhistle, also known as Kwela. It progresses onto the period of Kwela Jazz, which was played on the saxophone rather then the pennywhistle, and then moves on to a tribute to Miriam Makeba and the Manhattan Brothers.
