Paarl Gym, Paul Roos clash in rugby festival

THE first rugby teams of Paarl Gymnasium and Paul Roos Gymnasium will do battle in the main match at the annual Market Toyota Western Province Schools Rugby Festival at Newlands Stadium on 28 March.
The draw for the respective matches at the Festival was done at a function at Newlands on Tuesday evening.
The Market Toyota WP Festival, now in its fourth year, features four mini-rugby matches, an u.13 fixture and five u.19 matches involving leading rugby schools in the province.
The action will get underway at 15:00 on the 28th with the final match scheduled to end at around 19:45. No entrance fees will be charged.
In the other u.19 clashes, SACS will play Strand High, Bishops meet HTS Bellville, Tygerberg High play Collegians RFC and Durbanville High will meet Brackenfell High.
The single u.13 match on the day will feature Eversdal Primary against Somerset West Primary.
There will be four mini-rugby matches - Schotschekloof versus Hlengisa Primary, Fish Hoek Primary versus Durbanville Prep, Chuma Primary versus Simon van der Stel and Groote Schuur Primary versus Dr GJ Joubert.
The programme is: (15:00) Mini Rugby, (15:20) Eversdal Primary vs Somerset West Primary, (15:55) Durbanville High vs Brackenfell High, (16:40) Collegians RFC vs Tygerberg High, (17:25) HTS Bellville vs Bishops, (18:20) SACS vs Strand High, (19:05) Paarl Gym vs Paul Roos.
