Where will money come from?

I FEAR that our municipal rates are going sky high (Paarl Post 7 April) and that our municipal councillors should think again about the next budget.
The councillors (have they learnt to use their expensive laptops?) should be ashamed of taking substantial salary increases when so many residents can’t afford the rates.
The cherry on the top of the half-baked cake is the talk of appointing four new “directors” at a cost of R600 000 each per annum. Where is all the money coming from?
