Best value in Pinotage

THE Wine magazine and Tops at SPAR’s annual search for good-value, easy-drinking Pinotage has netted not one, but two wines worthy of acclaim.
Landskroon Pinotage 2004 and Du Toitskloof Pinotage 2004 both rated Three Stars and earned full marks for value, share the honours in the 2006 Value for Money Pinotage Awards.
Landskroon’s Pinotage 2003 was runner-up in last year’s Value Awards, while winemaker Paul de Villiers was the Diners Club Winemaker of the Year in 2000, the Landskroon Port ’97 securing him that title.
