FRANSCHHOEK was shocked to a standstill by the fatal accident on a sunny Friday afternoon in which six workmen died while they received their wages from their employer.
It is a tragedy. We once more want to extend our condolences to the bereaved families.
The inhabitants of Franschhoek have shown that they are a people of compassion. There were so many who were eager to support the families.
We therefore want to thank everyone who contributed in whatever way to comfort and support the families financially, spiritually and otherwise. Thank you all.
