Power cuts expected at any moment

PAARL and Wellington will not be spared load shedding, the official term for interrupted power to homes and business premises.
The Drakenstein municipal electricity department has been warned that Eskom can request an interruption of power in the Paarl-Wellington area the moment the usage reaches maximum capacity.
There will be no forewarning.
Interruptions can be expected between 18:00 and 21:00, Jan Coetzee said. The shedding will be rotated, and will not affect the entire area at the same time.
