THE Zevenwacht Wine Farm at Kuils River and H.E.A.T Adventure will host the second round of the provincial and national Mountain-bike Championships.

The provincial event kicks off on Sunday with the national champs taking place on 23 and 24 April.

Both events will be preceeded by fun rides for the whole family.
According to Zevenwacht’s John Johnson visitors can enjoy a morning of riding starting at 08:00.

The “Total-Totally Fun” 12km Fun Ride on Sunday will be more suited to beginners and families, with lucky draw cash prizes up for grabs.

Riders may enter on the day before 07:30, or go online to enter at www.raceday.co.za.

The 20km “Giant Fun Ride” on 23 April, preceeding the National Event, will be suited to more experienced fun riders, who would be contending for part of the R5000 in prizes up for grabs, sponsored by Giant Bicycles.

Riders may enter on the day before 07:30, for 08:00 start.

See them tackle the Tin Mine jump, the Rock and Roller, and the spectacular “Dirt Eater” jumps.

Food and beverages will be available, as well as music, jumping castle, laser clay pigeon shooting, to helicopter flips, for a bird’s eye view.
