Women soccer players unite

AN open invitation is extended to all soccer playing women to join the newly established Boland SAFA.
The co-ordinator of women’s soccer in Drakenstein, Frans Krotz, wants all women soccer clubs to contact him on 084-090-5167 or Jonathan Liebenberg (match secretary of Drakenstein Local Football Association) on 076-168-3469.
They want all clubs on their registrar in order to establish a league structure for the new season which kicks off in August.
Local women’s soccer clubs are currently playing friendly matches. In one such match this weekend Lady Hawks of Paarl beat Saints FC of Wellington 4-0.
More matches between Saints FC, Lady Hawks and TK Lions are scheduled for Saturday 12:00 at Wellington.
