OBVIOUSLY ‘just one look is all it took’ with this Paarl property, which was recently sold by Seeff Paarl agent Ophelia Pedro in under an hour.

The home is about 65 years old and was renovated about four years ago.
Van der Westhuizen says: “The residential market in Paarl slowed down quite a bit during February and March, but has been picking up again since April and May.
“Lately we have experienced sales at prices ranging from R250 000 to R2,8m.
“In Boschenmeer Golf Estate the sales have also been quite active.
“The most active price range is below R1 million and as you can see from the above property, you can still buy quite a lot for that in Paarl.
“Prices in Paarl currently range as follows: plots from: R550 000 to R1,2m, houses from R350 000 to R3,5m, and flats from R500 000 to R970 000.”
What type of people are buying in Paarl nowadays?
“We have a wide assortment of buyers - investors, overseas and local - although most of our sales are to locals, who are either upgrading or downgrading.”
