CELEBRATE “Christmas in June” at Cape Chamonix Wine Farm, Franschhoek, on Saturday 24 June.
Chamonix restaurant chef Dane Newton had a lot of fun turning a traditional Christmas menu inside out with innovative new twists on old favourites.
His expertise is matched by Gottfried Mocke, award-winning winemaker of Chamonix winery, who rounds off each course with a specially-chosen wine.
Guests will kick off with Gluhwein and Eggnog from 19:00 to drive out the winter chills.
The evening will end on a high note when three unusual items will be auctioned off for charity. Proceeds of the evening will be donated to Franschhoek SPCA’s sterilisation drive.
The cost is R200 per person which includes the meal and a glass of wine with each course.
