Grande Provence
The series opens on Friday 29 April at 19:00 at a spectacular new venue in Franschhoek, Grande Provence.
The outstanding, beautifully talented South African soprano Bronwen Forbay sings a selection of popular operatic arias from La Traviata, La Boheme and Die Fledermaus (sold out).
Bronwen, who was awarded a Fullbright Scholarship to study in New York, is currently completing her Doctoral studies in Cincinnati. The performance, like the venue, combines a most elegant presence with beautiful artistry.
La Grange
On Saturday 30 April at 20:00 you can visit La Grange for ‘The Gypsy Violin’.
The Kerimov Trio, Russian soloists Boris and Elena Kerimov (cello and violin) with Christopher Duigan (piano), follow up their stunning success of Moscow Nights with a programme of sophisticated Gypsy violin melodies including Hora staccato, Monti’s Czardas, and soulful cello songs.

Haute Cabriere
‘Mozart in Concert’ can be heard on Sunday 1 May at 17:00 for 17:30 at Haute Cabriere.
Festival musicians play a programme of pure classics including the Piano Sonata in F K 332, Trio for violin, cello and piano in G K 452 and arias from Marriage of Figaro (70 minutes).
Includes a glass of Pierre Jourdan Brut before the concert and an option to enjoy a meal in the Haute Cabriere restaurant after.

Reuben’s
The Art of French Song: L’invitation au voyage is on at Reuben’s on Sunday 1 May at 19:00.
A sophisticated choice: explore the art of French song with Federico Freschi (baritone) and Christopher Duigan (piano) in a broad-ranging programme of classical art songs, opera and popular songs.
Featuring melodies by Faure and Ravel, La Vie en Rose, Plaisir d’amour and arias from Faust and Carmen the programme is interspersed with brief commentary and interleaved with piano solos - Debussy’s Claire de lune and Ravel’s Pavane (sold out).
On Monday 2 May at 13:00 Bread @ Wine presents ‘Gypsy & Tango in Vienna’.
A massive celebration - this winning programme includes tangos La Cumparsita and La Paloma plus traditional Gypsy Czardas and Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No 5 played by the Kerimov Trio.
They are joined by Federico Freschi and tenor Francois Möller in opera arias, Italian love songs, and a final ensemble of Vienna, City of My Dreams and O sole mio.

Residence Klein Oliphants Hoek is celebrating its 5th birthday on Sunday 1 May at 14:00 with selections from Gypsy and Tango in Vienna and other classical favourites played by five festival musicians.
