OWNED and operated by 11 women, a BEE catering business was recently launched on Nelson’s Creek Wine Estate just outside Paarl.
The enterprise aims to provide jobs for the wives of farmworkers.
“This is an excellent uplifting opportunity for us and our children, for we are doing it for them. We are working hard to make it succeed”, says managing director Mieta Skippers.
The farm is already known for its BEE wine production under the name New Beginnings.
Finishing Touches offers catering services to the business community for a variety of business functions.
They also offer a venue for small conferences and meetings as well as private functions like birthdays and weddings and even small exhibitions.
