Classical music soirées

TWO world-renowned performers, on their first visit to South Africa, will be appearing at Nederburg on Sunday 20 August, to give an intimate recital in the original music room of the famous winery’s manor house.
Their performance continues the 30 year-long tradition of musical soirées held at Nederburg to showcase artists, accompanied by wines and a finger supper.
The two musicians are cellist Natalia Khoma and pianist and composer Volodymyr Vynnytsky, both from the Ukraine.
They will perform works by César Franck and Sergei Rachmaninov, as well as a composition by Vynnytsky himself.
Given the small venue, tickets at R125 are limited and early bookings are encouraged.
The recital begins at 17:00 but guests are advised to come earlier to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine. A light supper will be served after the performance.
