Spring concert with Rocco

THE well-known performer Rocco de Villiers will be at Simonsvlei on Friday 1 September with “Rocco on piano, with guitar”.
If you thought that popular pianist and cocktail-guru Rocco de Villiers and his guitar player, Theo Janse van Rensburg, are going to sit still behind their instruments in his new show “Rocco on piano, with guitar”, you’re making a mistake!
Energetic, flamboyant and unique as always, the production consists of music from Rocco’s latest CD “Ego to please”.
All the music is original and Rocco’s compositions. It is inspired by current issues with titles such as “On the Street where Katrina Lives”, “Urban Legend” and “Tango for Two Saints and a Pregnant Woman”.
Rocco of course tells the stories behind the titles in his own witty manner. Prepare yourself for Rocco’s unique and flamboyant style of piano playing.
