Vehicle hijacked

A MAN was robbed of his VW Polo during a hijacking near Mbekweni on Sunday night.
Nizaam Sodoms was on his way to Wellington when he stopped at the Mbekweni traffic light in Jan van Riebeeck Drive.
A man suddenly jumped into the back of his car and held a gun to his head. Another man entered on the passenger side and Nizaam was forced to continue driving.
About 400m further, he was told to turn into Springbok Street and after a short while the robbers told him to stop.
Nizaam was then robbed of his cellphone and wallet, before being thrown out of his car.
