Born in the RSA 3: Saturday 23 September, 18:00, Boys’ High
This exhilarating production is a showcase of South African music and certainly a musical extravaganza to be proud of.
The Performer theatre once again embarks on creating a spectacular portrayal of South African music, following in the footsteps of its ever popular predecessors Born in the RSA 1 & 2.
The rhythmic opening of the two most popular African groups, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and of course the groovy Mango Groove will set the pace for the rest of the line-up.
Original songs such as Picking up pebbles, Kentucky Blue, Sunglasses/Sonbrilletjies, Lisa se klavier, Loslappie, Lief vir alles hier, Nkosi Sikilela and many, many more well- known South African songs, are featured.
Their songs are performed by very talented cast members and live band.
The Kwaito Medley includes music from artists such as Arthur, Zola, Mandoza and Mzekezeke.
Born in the RSA 3 is exhilarating, extravagantly different, a declaration of pride, we all can relate to.
Discover the beauty and energy that only Born in the RSA 3 can offer and reclaim your sense of pride!
