Lucky prizes in municipal draw

THE Municipality is to hold its Lucky Prize Draw this weekend, rewarding dedicated ratepayers for their commitment to pay their municipal accounts.
This time the draw will comprise of three draws throughout the municipal area of Drakenstein, to coincide with the Cultivaria Festival, with the final draw between the finalists on Monday.
During the festival, the municipality will draw a finalist from each of the municipal areas (Saron/Gouda, Wellington and Paarl) who will then be entered into a draw for the main prize.
The first draw (Paarl/Mbekweni accountholders) will take place on Friday evening at 20:00 during the shows of Mafikizolo, Jamali and Out of Africa at the Boland Park Cricket Stadium. The show starts at 19:00. The second draw (Wellington accountholders) will be on Saturday afternoon at 15:00 in Paarl also at the Boland Park Cricket Stadium.
The concert featuring artists like Wiseman Doctrine Reggae Band, Kevin Leo, and magician Wolfgang Riebe, starts at 12:00.
The third draw (Saron and Gouda accountholders) will be in Gouda on Sunday at the Gouda sportsgrounds during the Gospel Show, while the final draw will take place on Monday afternoon at 15:00 during the all day variety concert at the Boland Park Cricket Stadium, when all the finalists drawn during the weekend will contest for the main prize of R50 000.
The municipality urges municipal accountholders, if in arrears, to make arrangements to pay their municipal accounts in order to be eligible to be entered into the December Draw.
