Cultivaria festival: community fun

A MUSIC festival for the community will be featured at Boland Park Cricket Stadium as part of the Cultivaria Festival this weekend.
On Friday night from 19:00 Mafikizolo and Jamali will perform, with musicians from the show Out of Africa. Egoli actors Nenna, Bertie and Dez will also visit the stadium (tickets R10 from Max Supermarket, Dalvale Service Station, Centre Point Superette, Essop’s Supermarket, Polarama, Peter’s Cellars and Awé Sports Bar (Wellington).
From Saturday entry is free. The fun starts at 12:00 with choirs and bands, ventriloquist Jannie de Bruin (12:30), magician Wolfgang Riebe (16:30) ending with Kevin Leo & The Sweetvoice Masters (18:00). Egoli Stars will visit the stadium during the day. On Sunday the free entertainment moves to the sports fields in Gouda, starting at 15:00 with local gospel singers.
On Monday the weekend closes with another free concert at Boland Cricket Stadium from 10:00 featuring bands, coons, dance groups, clowns, a ventroliquist and a drama production, and a musical production Born in the RSA 3 (14:30). the programme ends at 18:00 with Afro jazz. Egoli stars Nenna, Dez, Dr Adam will visit the stadium during the day.
