Victim drowns

A MAN drowned at the sewage works near Mbekweni after being attacked by a group of men.
Babalo Sondla of Nederpark neighbourhood was attacked on Friday 22 September, when he and some friends were walking near the dam.
They ran away from the attackers, but Sondla failed to escape. He eventually managed to run in the direction of the water, but never returned home.
On Friday a passerby noticed something drifting in the dam and on closer investigation it was confirmed that it was the body of Sondla.
