An Afrikaans experience in Paarl

THE networking organisation Alternative Tourism is organising an Afrikaans Experience at the Taalmuseum in Paarl on Tuesday.
The event includes an art exhibition by local artists Lara Kruger and Kervin Cupido; clothing by local designer Jolette le Roux; Afrikaans music by Schalk Moss of Stellenbosch and David van Niekerk of Oudtshoorn; wine and olives from the Drakenstein valley; a traditional Afrikaans lunch; and a guided tour of the Taalmuseum’s multimedia exhibition - a little known gem in the heart of Paarl.
The event starts at 11:00 and the cost is R100 for non-members and R80 for members.
Alternative Tourism is interested in preserving heritage, culture and art through the building of personal relationships with others in the marketplace.
