Are you the next Winelands ambassador?

ARE you or do you know of someone who could be a Cape Winelands Tourism and Events Ambassador?
In 2005, the Cape Winelands District Municipality embarked on a marketing campaign supportive of all things local and lekker.
The Cape Winelands District Municipality again needs local champions or ambassadors who will help it by being the faces and voices of the district.
The District needs your help to track down the people in the community who will be Cape Winelands Ambassadors until April next year.
To nominate (or vote for yourself!) answer the following questions: What makes local ‘lekker’ in the Cape Winelands?; Are you or the person you are nominating passionate, knowledgeable about your or the other Cape Winelands towns?; What are some of the interesting things that you know or can share about the Cape Winelands?; Are you or the person you are nominating comfortable speaking to the media?; Will you or the person you are nominating be willing to spend some volunteer time being an ambassador for the Cape Winelands?; Motivate why you should be considered as a Cape Winelands Ambassador.
The selected ambassadors will be required to attend selected events within the district, make media statements, have photographs taken, and have their products showcased (where applicable).
