KWV will not list on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in the foreseeable future. This decision was announced by the KWV Board in reaction to speculation about new trading regulations.

KWV shares will be trading via PSG until 30 November, at which time an alternative trading mechanism will be in place.

All shareholders will be informed of the new trading procedure by 1 November.

According to Danie de Wet, chairman of KWV Ltd, the discontinuation of over the counter share trading does not constitute enough reason for the company to list. “Listing does, however, remain a future option for KWV.”
