THIS is the time for prospective matric students to start considering their next big step; finding the right job to set them on the right road for their dream career.

Boston City Campus and Business College has created innovative programmes to assist students to make the right personal choice.
They are now open at the old Nedbank building at 34 Lady Grey Street in Paarl.

“Our Career Compass Programme is a hi-tech program aimed at helping students gain insight into various careers, indicate career interests and ultimately increase career maturity,” explains CEO Ari Katz.

Katz defines career maturity as not only knowing what to study for what career, but knowing exactly what courses and subjects to select for further specialisations and have some knowledge of how to choose your subjects to ensure maximum flexibility within your chosen degree or diploma.

Boston’s IT driven exploratory questionnaire offers students career guidance and appropriate advice that is dependant upon their answers to carefully selected questions.

Based upon the outcomes of this questionnaire in terms of an individual’s interests, talents and skills, a qualified Boston career counsellor works with students to determine what courses are appropriate so that they may successfully achieve their career goal.

“We have career focused degrees and diploma courses available to our students.”

As a follow up to the Career Interest Programme, Boston’s pre-employment readiness programme (PREP) is geared towards helping students prepare CV’s to professional standards and handle stressful job interviews once they have completed their studies.

Boston City Campus & Business College doors are now open in Paarl to anyone in need of study in over 50 career qualifications.

They offer free career counseling during the months of November and December. Contact or visit Boston at Old Nedbank building’s 1st Floor, 34 Lady Grey Street, or phone 872-4387.
