Global Day of Prayer

AFRICA invites Christians all over the world to join hands in a Global Day of Prayer when an estimated 200 million Christians will unite in prayer on Sunday 15 May, Pentecostal Sunday, to ask God to bless the nations.
The event is organised by Transformation Africa and in Paarl the programme is presented at the Daljosaphat Stadium, starting from 13:00 to 16:00.
There is a simple threefold strategy: from 6 to 15 May there will be fasting and praying day and night for 10 days (congregations, cities, regions).
On 15 May towns, countries and continents will unite to pray in stadiums, churches, market squares, etc.
“90 Days of Blessing” or community outreach will follow after 15 May.
This may include evangelism, different types of outreach and help for the poor and needy, etc.
