2006-11-30

ANOTHER gated residential estate is planned south of Paarl, with access to the Wemmershoek road via the Kliprug road.

The property, to be known as Perle de Fleuve, is located between Val de Vie, Fraaigelegen and Rennie’s Farms.

A total of 40 hectares, owned by Deon Rossouw, Izak Britz and Susan van Dyk, is to be consolidated and rezoned for development into low and high density sections.

The larger section will consist of 117 units of about 1000 square metres each, with a group housing section of 20 units per hectare.

The land will also be used for the production of olives and lavender. There will also be a church/conference centre.

Comments must be submitted in writing to Drakenstein Municipality by 29 January (phone 807-4834 for more information).
