Apply now for bursary

STUDENTS have until Saturday 20 January to apply for a bursary or bursary loan from the Athlone Institute Trust. No late applications will be considered.
A maximum of 20 bursary loans will be available to first year students with serious financial need, with a minimum aggregate mark of 950 in the Matriculation Examination.
An applicant for either a bursary of bursary loan must:
* be a permanent resident of Paarl or Mbekweni and a parish member in good standing with one of the member churches of the Athlone Institute Trust or be a parishioner in good standing of any bona-fide church in Paarl;
* enrol at a registered tertiary institution for full-time undergraduate studies for 2007;
* show potential to study successfully;
* be willing to be involved in some form of community service in the Paarl/Mbekweni area under the supervision of the Bursary Project Committee.
Application forms and information are available at the offices of the following churches in Paarl/Mbekweni: Bethel United Congregational Church, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Immanuel UR Church, St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Zions UR Church and the Methodist Church of SA, Mbekweni.
