Sunday sunset concerts

CENTRAL to Diemersfontein’s sunset concerts will be their Carpe Diem Viognier with canapés fashioned to complement the white wine.
With the beautiful Diemersfontein gardens as a setting, the first concert, on Sunday 28 January at 18:00 for 18:30, will feature The Roller Coaster Ride by Elzeth Germishuys and Stefan Lombard on two pianos and vocals by guest artist Melanie Scholtz.
Sunday 11 February will feature Zanne Stapelberg, star soprano, with
her delicious opera-cabaret accompanied by Stefan Lombard on the piano and Anouk Epsli on the violin.
Tickets are R120 per person, including the wine and canapés, from Diemersfontein (021-864-5050).
Concert-goers can bring their own snacks or order picnics made up by Seasons Restaurant at a price of R150 per person.
