Girl abducted

A SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD girl managed to escaped from an abductor who had allegedly kept her captive and repeatedly raped her for several days.
The girl was walking with a friend on Saturday evening at 22:00 near a farm north of Paarl, when they were approached by an unknown man.
The man grabbed the girl and when her friend tried to intervene, a second man arrived by car and chased her away.
Both men dragged the girl to a white Toyota Corolla which was parked nearby and the vehicle sped off.
She was taken to a house in Fairyland where she was held captive by one of the men and repeatedly raped at gunpoint throughout the weekend.
When the man left her locked in the house on Monday morning, she found an iron pipe with which she broke a window and escaped.
The girl was found running to safety in Bartholomew Street.
The police would like to question Kevin Appollis (25) in conncction with the abduction. Supt Cornel Sutherland can be contacted at 807-4000.
