New name for boxing club

THE Paarl Amateur Boxing Club has changed its name.
In accordance with the national body the club has dropped the term amateur from its name and will now be known as the Paarl Olympic Style Box Organisation.
The club will host a cadet tournament at the Paarl Sports Centre in Abattoir Road on 27 January.
Boxers between the ages of 14 and 17 years will contend as part of the Boland Summer Games. The first fight will start at 13:00.
