Exhibition: The Arts Association of Bellville presents the 2007 Krisp Exhibition until 31 January at the Art Gallery (library). The artists that feature in the exhibition include Colin Strydom, Elmarie Lategan, Anja de Klerk, Lisa Scalabrino, Larita Engelbrecht, Wessel Snyman, Christelle Bester, Kate van Putten, Martin Swart, James Thacker, Maureen Visagie, Karen Kotze and Noleen Read.
Orchestra: Tonight at the Cape Town City Hall (20:00): Second concert in the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra’s summer season with conductor: Ori Leshman. The soloist is the young serbian pianist Vladimir Milosevic playing Brahms’s Piano Concerto No 1 in D minor. Other works on the programme are Weber’s ‘Oberon’ Overture and Schubert’s Symphony No 3 in D major. Book at Computicket or Artscape Dial-a-Seat 421-7695.

Dis lewendig, dis speels, dis rock, dis jazz, dis hier, dis nou! Op 1, 2 en 3 Februarie om 20:15 met Jannie Moolman, Karen Meiring, Rory Rootenberg, Nicole Holm en Lize Beekman.
Orchestra: The third concert the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra’s Summer season is on 1 February at the Cape Town City Hall (20:00). Maestro Owain Arwel Hughes returns to the podium to conduct a programme consisting of Rossini’s “La gazza ladra” Overture, Paganini’s Violin concerto No 1 in D major and Brahms’s Symphony No 4 in E minor.
