Opera Vocal Ensemble in the Winelands

THE Friends of Cape Town Opera will present a concert, Opera in the Winelands, in the KWV Cathedral Cellar in Paarl on Saturday 17 February at 19:00 for 19:30.
Cape Town Opera Vocal Ensemble have 24 members from the communities of Gugulethu, Blue Downs, Elsies River, Parow, Khayelitsha, Manenburg and Belhar.
They are employed on a year-to-year contract, renew-able upon successful audition (paid position).
Only 150 seats (cinema style) are available.
The tickets (R150) include a delicious buffet and KWV’s famous Cathedral Cellars Wines.

Friends of the Opera is an organisation that brings opera lovers together to help promote and support this art form in Cape Town.
Friends of Cape Town Opera, in partnership with Cape Town Opera offer their members a chance to receive advance information through their newsletters, pre-booked seats, attend special operatic events and receive concessionary rates for certain performances.
The annual membership fee is R100 (R150 for a couple). All fund raising functions are open to the general public.
