A TEENAGE girl narrowly escaped death when she was a passenger in a car in which her brother was killed.

Sibukosi Bushula (16) had been collected by her brother Mzozuko (23) at the Paarl Mall where she had been working in a restaurant.

They were returning to Mbekweni, when Mzozuko lost control of the vehicle in Berg River Boulevard in the Vrykyk area, colliding with a tree. Mzozuko died on the scene of the crash and Sibukosi was taken to Paarl Hospital.
