IT’S time to indulge your senses once again at the now legendary SA Cheese Festival on the picturesque Bien Donné farm between Paarl and Franschhoek.

There to tempt you from 27 to 30 April will be an abundance of boutique and renowned cheeses from known and new cheese-makers across the country, with the added bonus of authentic French cheeses specially imported for the festival.

Taste away on your favourite cheese and enjoy the various wines, olives, freshly baked bread and other delicacies on offer.

Let the experts show you how to enchant with cheese and show the kids how cows, goats and even sheep are milked.

A limited number of tickets for this gastronomic event is on sale at R75 per person at Computicket. The entrance fee includes a shopping bag, festival programme, gourmet cheese tastings and inspirational demonstrations by some of South Africa’s top food fundis. Wine tasting glasses at R5 each will be on sale at the gates.

Discounted tickets for senior citizens will be available at R45 for the duration of the festival and entry for children under 12 is free.

The gates will be open from 10:00 to 18:00 from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 April and from 10:00 to 16:00 on Monday 30 April.
