THOUSANDS of children recently attended the first interschools athletics day in Mbekweni.

The event was won by Mbekweni Primary who gathered 460 points overall while Imboniselo came in second with 375 points.

Langabuya (260 points) followed in third place while Imlumelo Junior Secondary (185) and Desmond Tutu High (100) took fourth and fifth respectively.
