A NATIONAL immunisation campaign for measles will take place from 5 to 13 May at all clinics. From 10 to 16 June there will be a polio campaign. The target group is all children up to four years of age.
Immunisation protects children against infectious diseases, curbs the spread of disease in the community, decreases the mortality in children and ensures that education is not interrupted by absenteeism.
