Meeting to discuss indoor sports centre

ALL sport loving people involved with indoor sport are invited to an information session which will take place on Monday at 19:00 in the Huguenot Community Hall.
This concerns the many requests Drakenstein Municipality receives from sports people regarding the lack of an indoor facility in the area that can cater for their individual needs to practise and hold competitions.
Codes like table tennis, badminton, pool, gymnastics, karate, judo, darts, volleyball, basketball, boxing and dance are invited to an information session to discuss the different options for erecting an indoor sports centre in the Drakenstein area.
The Municipality acknowledges the fact that all these sporting codes need to be accommodated in order for the sport to be fully functional, but is unable to meet all the needs and has therefore opted to undertake a study.
The consultant Prism has been appointed to conduct the study that will give insight into the feasibility of and options for the erection of an Indoor Sports Centre.
