TEN lucky readers stand a chance to win to free tickets to the Decorex show held in Cape Town this weekend.
Decorex Cape (26 to 29 April at the CTICC) marks the return of beautiful spaces with the theme Embellishing Space, as hard-edged interiors make way for a softer silhouette.
A selection of 250 handpicked exhibitors will be pulling out all the stops to entice visitors with the latest in furnishings, fabrics, fine finishes, lighting, bathrooms and dream kitchens.
The new Sanlam Dream Rooms section is the ultimate design destination for anyone passionate about beautiful interiors.
This year the annual Sanlam Young Designers Thinking Ahead Competition focuses on fabric and textile design with the theme Fabric.Form.Function.
The Western Cape design schools taking part are the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, the Cape Craft & Design Institute and Boston House College. The winner takes home the Sanlam Young South Africa Thinking Ahead Award and R5000.
At the new Plascon Virtual Showroom, designed by the iconic Switch Design Group, visitors can get intimate with a colour before taking it home, by experiencing the Plascon colour range on different finishes through hi-tech software and light projection.
The Decorex/Kizo Arts Awareness Programme takes the next step with AffordART, a select showing works by leading artists, all priced to encourage collecting and living with original art.
The show is open on 26 April (10:00 to 17:00), 27 and 28 April (10:00 to 20:00) and 29 April (10:00 to 18:00). Tickets are R45.
* To win two free tickets, send an email naming the venue of the show, to edit@paarlpost.co.za. Winners will be contacted by 17:00 today to collect their tickets from Paarl Post.
