Brides can enter for competition

A BRIDAL showcase is planned for 5 and 6 August at Kleinplasie Showgrounds, Worcester, as part of Woman’s Day.
Peter van Dyk, the show co-ordinator, says they are presenting a showcase with flowers and demonstrations, food, décor, table settings, stalls, photos, music, cars to hire, designer wedding gowns and a fashion show with well-known designers.
They are also having a Bride of the Year competition. All brides married between August 2004 and May 2005 can enter.
Just send a full frontal picture of yourself and your dress and two other photos of yourself so that they can see the dress clearly and in detail.
You must still have your wedding dress, because if you are one of the finalists you must come to Worcester on 6 August to wear your dress on stage.
The closing date for entries is 11 June. First prize is a weekend for two at a luxury hotel or guest house.
